Reproduction is a process by which a new individual organism of the species is produced biologically, which in turn, helps to continue to species. Bacteria usually reproduce by a process of simple cell division (or binary fission), in which one cell would divide into two daughter cells (break in the cell wall and the naked DNA).However, bacteria can also exchange genetic material through various other processes such as transformation, transduction and bacterial conjugation (Spiritus Temporis, 2008).Grasshoppers reproduce sexually through conjugation, when the male introduces the sperms into the ovipositor of the female. Once the eggs get fertilized by the sperms in the micropyles, the female lays the eggs underground or on plants. The eggs take about 3 to 4 weeks to hatch. Finally tiny larvae emerge from the eggs and are ultimately undergo transformation into adults. The grasshoppers are transformed to an adult stage by a process known as hemimetabolous (in which their bodies become bigger and their wing size increases; it involves 6 stages) (Science Jrank, 2008).Fish reproduce by sexual means, and usually lay eggs, although in some species (such as sharks), the young ones are directly born. Through conjugation, the sperms from the males are introduced into the body of the female. Once the eggs get fertilized, the female my either lay them into a nest or further development of the eggs takes place in the body of the female. Besides heterosexual reproduction, a single individual may have both sex organs and produce sperms and eggs.They would fertilize the eggs by themselves and release the eggs that would further hatch. Another mode by which fish can reproduce is ‘parthenogenesis’, by which the unfertilized eggs would be released and develop into embryos (Lookd, 2008). Bears reproduce sexually by mating (which is seasonal), depending on the area in which they live. The seasonal mating is to ensure that the young ones emerge when the conditions are f avorable for survival. The male and the female mate for a few weeks and once this is done, they go their separate ways.Depending on the species of bears, the female is pregnant for about 7 to 9 months. Once the embryo is formed through fertilization of the egg by the sperm, it remains inactive for as long as 6 months without undergoing any growth or development. Communication between Men and Women

As everyone knows by now, there is a difference between a man and a womans outer appearance. What some people do not realize is that a man and a woman are also different in communication techniques. Generally speaking, men and women fall into two categories when dealing with communication techniques. When men talk, it is for giving information. Deborah Tannen says this informative speaking is report-talk. Report-talk as defined by Deborah Tannen is public speaking. Women on the other hand, use small talk to communicate. Small talk is a conversation which is usually considered to be short and meaningless. Deborah Tannen states that this communication technique of women is rapport-talk. Rapport-talk as defined by Deborah Tannen is private speaking. This essay will discuss the following: (1) How Deborah Tannen and John Gray are similar in respect to their views on communication between men and women (2) how Tannen and Gray are different in their views on communication between men and women (3) the effects that result from these different types of communication (4) which essay is in agreement with my personal opinion and (5) the suggestions about communication from the essay. Deborah Tannen and John Gray are two authors who have many similarities. One similarity is the fact that both authors notice that men and women do speak differently. Tannen suggests that the way that men and women communicate is something that is learned from the early stages in life. From childhood, men learn to use talking as a way to get and keep attention. So they are more comfortable speaking in large groups made up of people they know less well-in the broadest sense public speaking. From childhood, girls criticize peers who try to stand out or appear better than others. People feel their closest connections at home Both authors realized men and women have different ways of talking. However, their views on the communication techniques are different. Deborah Tannen suggests that For most men, talk is primarily a means to preserve independence and negotiate and maintain status in a hierarchical social order. Deborah Tannen also suggest that women talk when with one or a few people they feel close to and comfortable with John Gray however says To fully express their feelings, women assume poetic license and use various superlatives and metaphors, and generalizations. Men mistakenly take these expressions literally. Because they misunderstandthey commonly react in an non-supportive manner. John Gray believes men use speech as a way of conveying facts. Women tend to look for support when they are talking, but do not ask for it; they feel the request is well implied. John Gray also theorized that when a man is upset or stressed he will automatically stop talking and go to his cave to works things out. Men are unable to express their feelings as well as women and this is why they go into a cave. Also men do not want to worry their partner. Men try to make their partner happy. Men think that their partner will be happy if they do not have to worry about the man. Women tend to believe that you can never abandon a friend who is upset. It doesnt seem loving to abandon someone when they are upset. Women instantly want to support men in the way they want to be supported, her intentions are good but it is counterproductive. Men show love by not worrying.

The Court I attended was Court of Justice. On March 21 2013 after my classes and I got there on time for the court session at 11:00 a. m. It was my first time entering court, the security was very strict, they looked through m y purse and made me take everything out of my pockets. After the security check I started looking for courtrooms with trials going on I entered a very interesting Courtroom 10 on the 6th floor.There was many people waiting in that courtroom including attorneys, but the attorneys were standing by the defendants. The trail was open to the public’ the crown stated the facts about the ( ) this wasn’t a jury trail the judge made the decision. As the Crown sated the facts, the Accused was arrested in September 13, 2011 for distribution of narcotics and prohibited firearms position. The offender was released on conditional sentence due to the judge was satisfied that the offender did not pose danger to the community.The offender has been on house arrest until the date of his trail and he breached his condition five times. On March 2nd, 2013 the accused was having an argument at home with his family and he decided to leave the house for a walk to cool down and the police spot him and ran his name through the system and found that he wasn’t supposed to be outside of the resident. He was arrested without a warrant and taken to custody and was advised of his legal rights. He was convicted five times due to his failure of his bail.He was found guilty of violating his bail and in most cases it is difficult to receive another release on bail in the future. The crown argued that the accused is guilty of three matters of breach and asked for jail time. The accused failed under section 145 under the criminal code. â€Å" Failure to comply with appearance notice or promise to appear† failure to section 145 will a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years b) offence punishable on summary conviction.On my 27th 2012 the accused lost his assured, on September 13th 2012, July 6th 2012, March 2nd 2013 was the dates of his convictions. He will be serving 18 additional days in custody. The judge asked the accused if he pleads guilty to all the accusations and he said â€Å" yes your honor† and asked him again if he is influenced under alcohol or drugs, and his answer was â€Å" no your honor† then the accused left the court room and was taken back to custody.
